BVF is moving right along. There are some new microgreen varieties that we are trying with some interesting flavors to try.
One new one we have had really good luck with is Chrysanthemum. Yes, the edible flower. It has a very unique flavor that is surprisingly good. Give it a try.
This week at the farm we have:
Microgreens $2.50/5x5 tray
Kale, Wheat Grass, Turnip, Pea, Cabbage, Radish, Fennel, Leek, Broccoli, Wasabi, Wood Sorrel, Cilantro, Beet, Chrysanthemum, Sunflower.
The top 4 favorite microgreens by sales are Radish, Wasabi, Sunflower, & Pea. Pea is #1. Leek is the #1 favorite with Chefs, aromatic and a distinct light onion flavor.

We have dehydrated mushrooms this week. $20/4oz. 4oz~=16oz fresh. Dried mushrooms are great to have on hand for soups, stews, gravies.
